Shiny Objects is a collection of chromatic ceramic works that explore the interplay between playful sculptural forms and experimental surface treatments. Each piece was handcrafted by Emma Bartik during a six-week residency in Jingdezhen, China in 2024, combining traditional sculpting and slipcasting techniques with contemporary industrial processes. These pieces continue Emma’s exploration of otherworldly gestural objects in ceramic form.
